Fence painting has completed for phase 4, see the fence painting map on this page. Please remember it is the owner’s responsibility to repair your fence and it is encouraged that all homeowners ensure rotten boards, posts, etc. are replaced.
New Entrance Feature Lighting – The lettering on the main signage at 170 St and Windermere Blvd has been updated this summer.
New Landscaping Gardens – six landscaped gardens will be completed at the entrances off of 170 St.
-
- Ambleside Link will be started first, one on each side (north and south) of this intersection. These started May 19th
- Anderson Way will be second.
- Windermere Blvd will be the last to start, with plants added on both sides of the sign – east and west
- All work should be completed by June 12th. Possibly sooner if the weather cooperates.
To help make the walking trails more enjoyable, the Board is working with the City to install benches throughout the neighbourhood. More information will be provided on the website as it becomes available.
Regular Landscaping support has begun.
-
- Spring clean up has been completed
- Flowers have been planted across from Brown’s Social House in the park
- The Fountains are running. Please note: when first installed the fountains run 24 hours a day to allow for the seals to build up. After the first week, they are then put on timers to save on power during the night.
- Friendly reminder for those with dogs to please use the doggy bag dispensers provided.
2017 – News & Updates
The HOA has repainted some common, exterior fences along 170th Street that are public facing starting on August 7th, 2017. It took about a month to complete all the painting and minor repairs for this year. If you have an exterior fence and do not want your fence to be painted in the future please email dave@coremanagement.ca
The fountain in the storm pond northwest of the Cascades was removed as work needs to be done to fix it.
The HOA has arranged for supplemental maintenance for some of the common areas starting each year with a spring clean up. There are still some common areas that are not yet turned over to the city and are being highly maintained by the developer; as such the HOA is not needed yet in those areas. The developer is expecting to turn over some of these areas to the city sometime during 2018. We will keep you updated as we have more information to share.
