Late Fee Policy
Fees are due October 31st, 2025
Homeowners in arrears will be charged monthly interest at a rate of prime + 5% per annum on any outstanding HOA fees as per the Encumbrance. Interest will be charged starting December 1st each year on any accounts in arrears at the time and continue accruing monthly until the account is paid up in full, including any interest accrued. This gives homeowners one month grace before interest charges will begin.
Homeowners in arrears three years or more may be sent to a solicitor for collections as per the Encumbrance. Please be advised that all solicitor costs would be charged to the homeowner and the arrears may be registered on title. Interest will accrue monthly on both the HOA fee(s) in arrears as well as the solicitor costs incurred, if applicable.
As such any homeowner who is in arrears and sells their property will have to clear any outstanding fees they owe including all solicitor costs accrued. We advise homeowners to pay their fees to minimize any future solicitor collection efforts the WAHOA may undertake, and to save homeowners on any solicitor costs.
